At what age do you have to start having a breast cancer exam?

Self-exams should begin when a woman is in her 20's, at least every three years if you have a family history of women getting breast cancer and women in the 50's should get mammograms every two years. I think. I'm not entirely sure but that does sound right to me.

Should start checking yourself now so you will know if anything changes as you get older. Doctors start checking at 18 or 19.

Maybe once you're old enough to have breasts, I'd say...couldn't hurt to learn as soon as possible so that you'd know from early on what feels "right" and what just might be a sign of trouble...

depending on your family history, do self-exams from now onwards, the earlier the better, and then doctors should check from your 30s and 40s onward. Not now, don't worry :)
