Acid Reflux Disease

So over the past few days I was in increasing pain and I had no idea what the fuck was going on... I ended up being instructed by my physician today to go to the Emergency Room....

I was diagnosed with Acid Reflux Disease....

So what i want to know is that if any of you had any experience with it and how you have felt with it....

I don't have it myself but a friend of mine takes something for it, he says it can get pretty painful, but if you stick to the medication you should be fine.

Thanks Mike, I will try to it can just be a pain at times....

My dad has that, and he has 4 pillows on his bed to keep his head and shoulders above the chest level, that might help too.

I don't know if it's the same as what you've just mentioned but I do have GORD. I've never gone to the ED for it though.
