Hey, I am a budding web designer. I have created a few websites but nothing with actual.... Thought.

Here is the URL for my website;

bluelinkstudios.hostei.com

Notice that I have only made the front page so far... I am still working on making it usable for all operating systems and screen resolutions.

What do you think? :cool:

I dislike it. It seems to simple and plain. You're using a lot of serif fonts which make everything look all formal and boring. If you are going to do a welcome you could at least do it properly rather than not doing it at all:
blah aof hueuhf oush fuihs uifhd uisfh iusdhf iluhds ilufhj ilsdu hfil. fsdihfosuidh.f sdfijsdf.s.f.sdf.s.f.dfsdfds fd f sd f sd f sd f f sdf dffsd sfd dfs fsd s dfdf fasd fasd sd fd safd fsd fsd fsd fsd fsd fsd sfd sdf
Are you using a WYSIWYG editor like Dreamweaver? They come with fonts preloaded into it usually, and are able to fit onto practically all screen resolutions.

The title is 'Computing'. It's really basic. Your topics are different Computer Languages, but there are a lot of different topics you'll need to cover if you're teaching these, so you'll need subsections. This is just my opinion. Some people may enjoy simplicity, but it's not me.

I'm too lazy to learn how to make Actual websites, so instead of that I make Web APIs like the Developers API for the Welder project I just started. but still Good job, the site just needs ALOT of work still. but isn't that how the more popular sites like Google came to be? Lots of work were put into them? anyways my point is that it takes alot of hard work to make a website. without that hard work alot of things we know of today wouldn't exist we would probably still be cavemen or we'd be extinct if it weren't for hard work.

Your site has a good template, now all you need is content.
looks like an homepage of the year 2000
Nothing wrong with that. I code like that too, mainly because I'm too lazy to go into HTML5 and stuff. I have friends for that :P
Personally, I'd rather browse a site that looked "sterile" and had what I'm looking for, as opposed to a flashy, very modern website where all of the jquery and animations(the animations is more like 1995, when Netscape began supporting it) make it too hard to browse the site.
You would too, I can assure you.

The YouTube video is off from where it should be, it overlaps the text, maybe if there were some lines dictating where it should be at?

The YouTube video is off from where it should be, it overlaps the text, maybe if there were some lines dictating where it should be at?

That would be because the video is embedded at 10px from the right side of the screen, with no padding between the text area and the video. So when the window is resized small enough to let the video start overlapping the text, it does.
