:scratchchin: Hmmmmmm..........
That'd be cool, but idk. It seems like it'd be cumbersome, especially since not every member submits their location.

like a user's local time you mean...that would work even if the location is not submitted, because it'll be dependent on the time zone.
I wouldn't mind this

Why would it matter, really? I mean sure, it would certainly be interesting, but for the few people that want to know, it can't be too hard to add or subtract one number from another.

I agree this would be useful because to be honest, what if I did not know the timezone for that area?
This would possibly be hard to instal though and if costed money I doubt it would be worth it.

Or, possibly easier, an option is to have an option on your profile, selecting your timezone.
For example. The default timezone is GMT-6.0. In my profile, I click a drop-down box and select my timezone, GMT+8.0

True, but there's a clock at the footer of the page, if you could change the timezone of that to be in the users clock.

Agree with this. It doesn't really serve much of a practical purpose besides "oh hey look, it's tomorrow in ____'s city."

We don't tend to add features just for the sake of it, and to be honest so many of our members will be on at crazy times (I know I'm on here more in the early morning and late night than in the daylight) that I can't see it even being practical for the purpose you suggested. We are of course not a social networking site either and any features we add are likely only to pertain to the forums and threads and not member interaction.

This would be a good idea IMO, but there isn't much point. If you wanna talk to your friends, you can always use the Contacts Popup thingy to see if your friends are online via the Quick Links popup on the toolbar at the top. And it's not much hassle to search up "Time now in Antarctica" into Google is it?
