Likes on posts

This was a feature I actually really liked, and probably abused on GovTeen :P
Is there an option in vB3 to Like posts? Or something to that extent?

We're not GovTeen, or Facebook. It's not an integral feature to the site, and if I remember correctly, it's $150 (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showpost.php?p=1301952&postcount=17), which is money the site doesn't have.

Either way, it's been discussed many, many times, and hasn't happened yet, so it probably won't.

I kinda like the Likes Modification better than rep...but I doubt it would be implemented and the rep removed.

Yea, most people forget that the Admins have to pay for the site, which also means any upgrades we'd want to make. This topic has been brought up a lot though however and everytime gets the same result.. to complicated and annoying, and not worth paying for.

From remembering when I used to browse through the vB mods, most of them cost money. Some are realitively cheap, but most of them do cost some money.

Yeah there's no real feasible way to do it cheap on vB 3.8. In my opinion, GovTeen has a lot of kind of cheesy and useless features that just clutter the place up. I don't see why we need to add loads of modifications when the site already works perfectly

Despite that it probably won't be implemented, I would enjoy having "x likes this" under posts.

I really don't see the need, likes should stay on Facebook where they belong.
