Its ok to be shy, everyone is at some point, but you will get used to it. If I understand your second question correctly, if you friends compare cocks or "measure up" it does not make them gay; almost everyone is curious about how how they compare and about other guys cocks.

At my school pretty much all the guys shower naked after PE and after soccer and baseball practice. Been doing it since 6th grade. It really is no big deal. You will probably be a little shy at first, but just go with it and very soon you won't care either. I think most guys check each other out just to see how you compare. Well I am above average so size has never been an issue really, but I had a guy call me small before and I just made a passing joke about using it on his mum. Sure its rude and not that nice, but it shuts him up and then people laugh at him instead. On the whole everyone is pretty shy about it and no one wants to be caught out looking. Another thing is if someone looks at it just ask why they were looking, works for me :P

We don't get naked in front of our friends when we change. I myself have no problem going nude but fortunately don't have too. At first since it was so warm I would wear some black shorts so I could say I have two pairs of them if the teacher asked. However winter came so I would slip my shorts under my pants before hand but I was asked questions by some of the kids around me so I stopped. Now im changing up normally and I do it quick!

BTW If the teacher lets you choose a locker. Choose it somewhere near your friends because I didnt and ended up with jocks... :yeah:

The best way to not draw attention to yourself is just get undressed, shower and get dressed again. Believe it, you will get used to it. After awhile it will be natural and you won't care.

Yeah I was worried a bit at first when I found out I was going swimming with the school and we would all change in the same room. I expected pretty much what you expected, it turned out all right though. It was fine to be honest nobody was comparing or anything, they were too worried about themselves to be honest. Maybe they took a few glances down at the other people but nobody said anything.
