Okay, so every girl i know, and every girl i've dated have said i'm a great guy and any girl would be lucky to have me, buuuut every girl i have ever taken an interest in has either turned me down, or they broke up with me, so first, do you think this is just a bunch of bull? and second does this happen to anyone else???

I don't have any experience with dating (lmao, I'm working on it) but I think that a lot of teenage relationships (even at age 16) are quite short. You say they tell you that you are great and ten break up with you? Is it, like the next day or the next week? Because a lot of relationships tend to last a week (have you ever heard of the one week anniversary?)

actually my shortest ever relationship lasted about a month hahahah, and she said it frequently throughout the relationship, so did her parents, and she and her parents continued saying it afterwards, and most girls i know as friends tell me that too

Happens to me quite a bit. Sounds like the friend zone to me. Tough to get out of..don't worry man, one day you'll meet a girl that actually means it when she tells you what a great guy you are. (at least that's what I tell myself)

Never really happened to me but I lack alot of relationship exerience, I just don't bother looking for someone, if I like someone and they like me then maybe I'll take a chance but honestly, I don't care. But I guess with you they aren't ready for a relationship or plain just don't want one, I'm sure your a great guy and what not, don't worry, you will find someone for you.

in some cases, it can certainly be just some shit they tell you perphaps to make you feel better in some way. on the other hand, some girls might truly mean that but have no interest in you in the way you would like. im sure this happens to a lot of other people too.

haha yes, this junk happens to me all the time. all people always bubble that personality comes first but no, it's bullshit. I'm a little chubby (and I mean it, I'm not fat like some kind of pig) and I've heard it from guys already "oh Yana, I love you but just like a friend", "you know, if you get a little thinner, someday I will marry you", "you know, get thinner and you'll be perfect"
this is SO annoying!
and what is more annoying is that I hear it from guys I never intended to even be friends with.
so just say thank you to those girls and give them a smile and go on with your life. there's nothing you can do.

Frequently and without fail.

Time and time again.

After hearing it so many times, I'm so tempted to say, "Go fuck yourself".

If I was honestly as good as you're selling me to be, I wouldn't be single or, at the very least, I'd have the option of dating someone.

It happened to me once, and unfortunately I fell for it a few times. I don't talk to her anymore to say the least. We were very good friends for a while, then that turned into interest from both of us, which is when she started to say how much she liked me and wanted to date me. So when I asked her out a few days later she flat out said no, this happened three times. Great friend, huh? That was in eighth grade though, almost 4 years, jeez.
