I cut myself last night on my lower arm for the first time. Usually I cut on my upper arm and thighs so it is hard to see. I'm wondering what people use to cover the cuts up. I'm currently wearing a sweater with everything, but I don't want to anymore. Any suggestions as to what to use to cover the cuts up?

Until the cuts start to heal and aren't quite as red, I'm afraid you're going to have to wear long sleeves and jumpers etc. You could risk having it on show, you'd be surprised what people don't look at. But if you don't want to do that, long sleeves are your best option, unless it's close to your wrist, then bracelets should cover them up pretty well.
When they start to heal and turn into scars (or just start to fade if it wasn't deep enough to scar), then there are a lot of opaque long sleeved tops you could wear. You'll have to wear a vest top or something underneath (for obvious reasons), but it's good for summer, because it's really thin and keeps you cool, and looks kind of summery for when it's warm out, and it makes scars a lot less noticable.

Slightly off topic but, I don't THINK my scars are the noticeable now but, you can never know what people notice. Especially your parents. I'm lucky my arms are pretty dry and mottled anyway so it covers them well in the mix of other colours. I still wear long sleeve tops, and a watch, all the time. They're the best for covering. Somehow, I think wearing bracelets won't help me... :P

Long sleeves, hoodie, Watch, bandaid, wirst bands (livestrong kinda things), or don't cover it up with anything jsut don't let it be noticable, like walk with your hands in your pockets or something.

I never thought about it when I started, I've only ever cut my forearm. It wasn't a problem in the beginning because it was winter. I wore sweatshirts all the time. Now its summer, And I'm still wearing sweatshirts. and it's horrible. If you have to, do it somewhere easily concealed.
