I cannot tell if she likes me or not

Hello, so I have known this girl for a couple months now and I was starting to wonder if she liked me because she would often times try to find reasons to hug me and talk to me, once she said "I like you" but then right after said "just kidding" now I cannot tell but she has the same lunch period as me, and when someone isn't at her table she often times will invite me over to sit with them.
So I don't know if she does or not. I appreciate any help :)

from what you say you cant get any clue if she likes you or not. maybe she just thinks of you as a friend. go ask her. that way you will stop overthinking this things and you would have found out by yourself if she likes you

why can't you just hang out with her a little bit more and then find out what's going on. you may not have enough courage to ask her straight forward but you can find out just by chatting more and getting to know her better
