You and Sachal are incorrect. Executive orders grant more power than you would expect. Executive orders have been used for things ranging from going to war (such as in Kosovo) to creating sanctions and establishing federal agencies. There is more power that you can use in a single day as President of the United States than you would expect. You even have the power to launch nuclear weapons. That's something substantial, is it not?

i would cut taxes so people have more money to spend, and provide money to small businesses to pay down their debt. So they can start to hire people again. i would also force states to lower the gas taxes they charge so people arent struggling to pay for fuel. Im sure they can find the rev somewhere else. last id start drilling for our own oil HERE, !!! that would reduce our need to get it from the middle east.

Id need more then a day,,,,,,, LOL

To actually do something significant in one day would be almost impossible. You'd have to come up with legislation, pass it though all the relevant government authorities and what not and whatever else is needed to be done. That can take months and even years.

Me, a teenager, would probably upset the delicate balance of the great country of America by becoming the leader for twenty-four hours. Who am I kidding? It's already out of whack.

In all seriousness, I think I would try to better the economy. I don't know how I would do it, but I feel Obama isn't doing anything about it. The perfect yet dumb decision: PRINT MORE MONEY!

Anyway, I would basically try to get same sex marriage legal in all 50 states. Then I would raise taxes on the church and the rich. Then I would pull a Bush and go on vacation for the rest of the day while the country is undernattack from the bigots.

I would allow for gays to be married in only 20 states of the US. Then i would get God back into the school system and not allow the topic of evolution to be taught. Then I would go on a vacation! And make a long speech about how idiotic GOP are! Happy? ha
