Recently i have been getting more and more tired each day. I never seem to have any energy left at the end of school and end up haveing a sleep when i get home. On weekdays i normally get 8-9 hours sleep and weekends normally 7-9 hours sleep/rest depending on what im doing that day. Please could someone give me any advice on how to not he so tired every day or how many hours i should be getting of sleep? Thanks

During puberty, you should actually sleep for longer....maybe 10 hours? Otherwise try exercising/play sport after school or whenever you have time. This should stop you from feeling lethargic during the day.
If this doesn't work then maybe see a doctor. One of the early side effects of glandular fever is fatigue- some of my friends have had this.

Yeah try sleeping less i know it sounds stupid but I slept for 9 hours last night and i was like urghhh. Sleeping for 6 or 5 and im fine for the day.
Take a nap after school or during the day like Brandon said and just stay active. Do something to take your mind off tiredness. Like after an allnighter in my science test i would feel like falling asleep there and then but after basketabll i would be up and ready to go so sport or keeping active is a good idea.

Bud, you can get all the sleep in the world but it will not be worth it if you do not eat right as well. You need energy and I am not saying that you do not eat well but you also need to take into consideration your diet....
You are receiving the right amount of sleep for your age and everything else, I would suggest you eat proteins and carbs personally but I have no idea of your activity levels or anything else about you.

Changing your diet and vivid exercise will increase your energy, it will increase over time.

One thing i've noticed is that it's not always the amount of sleep I get but the times that I sleep.
At weekends i'm more likely to sleep from sort of 1 or 2am until 11pm. I wake up more tired from this than if I sleep 11pm to 7am. I've found that getting into a routine makes you less tired.

Not drinking enough water can make you feel really tired as well. I didn't believe it myself, and rarely drank water but sat in a lecture in one of my courses and heard some truths behind dehydration, and since then I am drinking a very good amount constantly via a water bottle in my schoolbag, and it makes me feel better.
