Hi
So I was given petrol jelly by my doctor for a completely different problem. I was reading the back of the box, which read "Good for: *blah, blah, blah* and Cuts". I was wondering if any of you would know if it's suitable to use, on cuts? Responses greatly appreciated.

Whats the reason you're meaning? Cover ups, fading, antiseptic reasons etc?

Anything really. I was asking more a question of what it would do, sorry I'm rather tired :P

Let me rephrase my question. What is it suitable to use for? If that makes sense.

Well usually its used for keeping skin hydrated and to stop it going dry but it can be used on cuts and burns and things. Its good at keeping things water tight as its oil based.

It can prevent scarring, too. Because it keeps it moist, it's easier for your skin to heal itself. It won't scab over, which helps, especially if you're a scab-picker ha.
