Did you maybe crack it? How is the pain when you walk? Have you tried to bend it after?

I have bad knee pain as well as back and feet. I get physio for my knees so I can only tell you what I've been told. It could just be growing pains as lots of teens go through this where the bone doesn't go through the groove properly, sorry not very good at explaining, but it's just when your body has to catch up with different things growing at different times. So basically you should grow out of it, I.wouldnt worry but if you want to get it checked out by a doctor.

There's no pain when I walk, all there is a slight popping movement when I walk. And yes I did try bending it afterwards with same pain

No, if it was cracked you would definitely know and instead of asking the internet he would be in the hospital so don't worry about it being that, Im pretty sure.

Thats not what I meant, I mean crack, like when you crack your knucles, that, not fractured

I tried cracking it but only my other knee cracked. An that's when the pain started, right when I tried cracking it

Have to done anything to your leg that you don't normally do recently, like swing your leg high, kick a wall, take a long run.

I have a ruptured tendon in my knee which has never properly healed. Everytime I bend that leg past a certain point, I get an excrutiating stabbing pain in the side of my knee, which lasts for a few seconds after I've straightened my leg again. Could this be similar?

Bud, I am sorry but I strongly disagree with this and here is why. Priya Johnson completed a Masters in Business Administration in 2008 thus meaning nothing to do with anything medical wise, I read this article and found it inadequate for the information that is was presenting....

There are many reasons this might be happening, ranging from a ruptured bursa sac to the deterioration of the cartilaginous fibers.... you need to have it checked and evaluated by a physician and then if anything is found to be wrong they can prescribe the necessary treatment....
