You obviously start by deleting unneccessary files/ perform a disk cleanup & defrag etc. Then buy a 16 gig flashdrive and transfer your older/less often used files to it. Hope that helps.

Or just buy an extra hardrive instead of a flashdrive, they last a lot longer than any flashdrive i have ever used.

I agree with Michael. A flash drive won't buy you too terribly much space.
The cost of hard drives have since come back down after the floods, so it really wouldn't be that expensive to just get a decent sized hard drive.

an external hard drive will work just fine, they come at good prices now, so you can just dump all your videos and such there.

I never really thought of that, but i hear that some are slow if you don't plug them into 2 USB ports at once but then there are the ones that plug straight into the wall too...

Well it's just to dump all the things you don't want on your computer right? I think as long as you get a more reputable brand and sufficent enough space for you standards than speed shouldn't matter that much.
