Does anyone here use the Steam game platform? I do. If you do, do you like it, hate it? What are your opinions, and how do you think it can be improved. Also, list what games you have for it. Thanks!

Yes, anyone that has a gaming pc should have steam imo. It is basicly is the backbone of pc gaming due to the fact it ties all your games into a community, friends, achievements and it has a online store.

Steam user here too. I wouldn't say it's the backbone of PC gaming, but it's helped propel the platform back into popularity. I honestly prefer Steam over my PS3, but only by a slim margin.

Pretty much this. Only replace PS3 with the 360. :P
And as far as games, that is a very, very long list. Too long to list here. :P

Steam just craps out on me. I don't have a very good experience with it. The games I want to play through it won't start.

Are they games on steam? If not, and they go online, then that is the obvious problem, I have had multiple problems with games like that. Steam has been so useful to me with Skyrim and the subscribed mods. Fucking love that shit, also valve makes good games. Oh and Garry's Mod.

I have a few games, such as Killing Floor, TF2, & Counter Strike: Source. I only need a better computer now to play them they way they were meant.

Anybody up for a trade? Looking for Skyrim. In return, I can give somebody a Killing Floor guest pass or I'll buy them anything they want once I have the money. PM me for my id.

If I was simply offering the Killing Floor passes, yes. However, I'm willing to buy anything of equal value to Skyrim for someone else. At least I'm covering bases here.
