I can't seem to get enough sleep and I don't know what I can do.
On school days I seem to get 8 hours sleep... but I always wake up tired, feel tired throughout the day and always need a nap when I get home. Even with 7 hours or 8 and a half it's the same.
Also at weekends, I could get 9 or 10 hours sleep and still feel very tired, with stinging eye pains. I never can get the right amount of sleep to wake up and not feel tired. It'll be worse during my exams and I want to be ready for them.
Any advice please?

Try not to watch TV or go on the computer atleast half an hour before going to sleep. If problems like this continue you should see a doctor, you might have a sleeping problem.

What if you got less sleep, maybe you are overtired, like for me I can't sleep a full 8+ hours or ill wake up really tired. But if I sleep 6.5 hours or so, I wake up wide awake. If thats not the case take some sleeping pills, or see a dctor.

Exactly. another thing to try is EXERCISE! If your body isn't physically tired, your sleep won't be as deep, therefore your brain isn't getting the rest it needs. try that

Although that's true, it's not a good idea to excersise right before you try and sleep, or you'll be pumped as you're going to sleep, which isn't good.

Yeah it could be because you are getting to much sleep. I know it sounds weird but like Brandon above said i can have 4 hours of sleep and be fine and dandy the next day but when i get any more than 8 or so i just dont have any energy to do anything. I t doesn't make sense but maybe just try sleeping less. Try and keep electronic things or any things that have lights out of your room and it may help you sleep better and dont go on it a while before you go to sleep. Maybe try not eating a few hours before you go to sleep as well as you can still be digesting food which can disturb your sleep. But if nothing works then i also reccomend seeing a doctor, i mean get it checked out, you've nothing to lose.

I know that personally, if I don't get some form of exercise during the day, I'll just be tired all throughout, but if I wake up and do some activity, or something, then I'll feel much better.
It sounds like you're getting a reasonable amount of sleep, but you are young, so it might be you need more. Or, you could be getting too much. Try different things.
And if nothing helps, I would see a doctor. If you're feeling sick and this tired all the time, it could be something like mono or Lyme disease.

Well, there could be a number of contributing factors to the fatigue you're feeling. Who knows? It could be your diet, a chemical imbalance, caffeine, etc. However, the eye stinging issue leads me to believe that you spend too much time in front of your computer or television screen. It wears out your eyes and can make you feel tired. Try to kick the electronics for a day or two and see how you feel. If it persists, just go see a doctor and tell him what you're feeling, he may be able to help you.

Thanks guys, well last week I tried less sleep and more sleep yet I still found myself hideously tired throughout the day and nearly fell asleep again.
On the weekend, one day I got about 10 hours sleep...woke up with stinging eye pains for 2 hours.
Sunday, got 7 hours and had a headache for the next 3 hours.
I must see a doctor then. I can never wake up happily.
