Did anyone here ever watch Skins?

It was on E4 and is about teen drama.

I actually really liked the American version, I haven't watched the UK one. I can't name any of the characters or episodes by name, haven't watched in a while.

I prefered Series 3&4, though when me and my friend started to watch them again I noticed how triggering they were.. The new series isn't all that good, its all sex and drama etc.

The American version is absolute shit compared to the original. It's actually insulting to the UK version, it's so terrible.

I loved skins, loved. Seasons 1 & 2 were great, loved Cassie. Seasons 3 & 4 were the most amazing things ever. Loved almost every character, loved Effy and Emily. But seasons 5 & 6 are absolutely terrible, I actually have to force myself to watch the episodes. It's just drugs, sex, drugs, sex, sex, drugs, sex. No plot at all, none of the characters really got an in depth personality like the rest of the seasons did. I hate all of the characters in this season, none of them are even remotely interesting.

I think that US Skins is rubbish, personally. The original series is so much better. My favorite character is definitely Chris, but my favorite episode is probably Naomi's episode in the third season. If I'm not mistaken, that's the one where she and Emily hold hands through the dog flap? That's such a beautiful moment right there.

Chris is wicked ha! I think I'd have to go with Sid as my most liked character.

I have to get round to watching at least one episode of this U.S version though. Just out of curiosity. That was a good moment as well.

Series 1&2 was good
Series 3&4 was the best. Especially Naomi And Emily.
5&6 I still like, but all these characters Would hate each other in a real school environment if you get what I mean.

I liked the second generation I think, but I started watching this new one anyway nothing better to do :P but I actually really like it, it's not as good as some of the other ones but its not unwatchable either.

No, never watched it, it always looked really bad on the adverts but I did watch misfits which I think was kind of like it and I absolutely loved that.

I suppose misfits is exactly the same but with a twist. Maybe not as much drugs and sex, but on the same path. To me the adverts just looked like the adverts for Project X.

I watched the US version first and then the UK version.
I obviously like the US version better because I could understand the slang better.
But my fav character would have to be either Chris (The guy that fucks his tecaher xD) or Michelle (AKA Nips xDD)

I watched the UK Skins on BBC America... much better than the US version... seasons 1 & 2 are my favorite!

I loved Skins, gutted the next series is going to be the last ever one :/ But I think my favourite character was either Effy from seasons 1-4 or Alex from season 6

UK version was waaaaay better. When the US version came out here I knew it'd be shit. My favorite episode was episode 8 (Effy) season 3. I'd love to have a party like that in the middle of nowhere lol. Effy is obviously my favorite character because she's so complicated which makes her a very interesting character.

I watched the first two seasons; Cook was my favorite character, he reminded me a lot of my best mate when I was younger; just a bit less of a nob to women.

There so many characters that I love that it's hard to say which is my favorite. In the first series, Maxxie is my favorite. Second series, Freddie is my favorite. And the last series, Grace is my favorite. My favorite episode is last episode in season 6.

I watched the first season and thought it was okay. When it was good it was good, but other times it was just really stupid. It did drama well, but other times it was like it was trying to be scandalous or push limits just for the sake of it and I found those episodes boring.
