9 Year old Died from Running?

Okay this morning I was on yahoo and a headline caught my eye. Now what I am wondering is, how you have done as a punishment?

how did they expect a 9 year old to be able to run for 3 hours straight? and there are other ways they could punish her for lying, like not letting her eat any more candy bars for a few days :/

Thats distusting, i mean for 3 hours. I dont think an olympian can run for that long, and for what eating cand bars. If I was her I would have run away! They werent really im the possition to make her do that, if that was me i would have told be STEPmum to fuck off.
