I think this might go here but i'm not sure.
Anyways, while my mom was filling out paperwork in the school office to get me enrolled i was out in the hall waiting. Then this girl passed by and i felt like i'd been paralyzed, it was the weirdest feeling ever, my heart started beating really fast and i tried to not make eye contact with the girl. so, is this what love feels like? and the thing is this isn't how i usually feel near a hot girl.

You might just have a crush.. doubt it can be love since you have only seen how attractive she is physically and you haven't gotten a chance to know her as a person (personality wise) but it could be as they say "Love at first sight."!! When you start at that school... try find her, introduce yourself... and don't try too hard to impress her man. I don't think that's always true. In most cases, yes, but not always. It is possible for anyone to be in love, it doesn't have an age limit.

I don't believe that love happens like that, though. You have to really know someone before you can truly be in love with them. I don't believe in love at first sight, I think it's probably more of an infatuation or strong crush. Love is something completely different than being attracted to someone.

I think what you felt was infatuation. Not love. I don't believe in "love at first sight" as the saying is. I can understand being in love with someone after truly getting to know them, but not by sight.

Agreed. "Love at first sight" implies the love is solely based upon a physical attraction which is a pretty shallow thing to base "love" off of anyway.
