I need some help

Ok I like a guy I need to get over and I dont know how to get over him??
He knows I like him and were good friends but he dosent like me in that way and i dont want to mess up our friendship by liking him so I need to know how to get over him....So please help me

i have a habit of diverting my attention to another guy, which is horrible because then i dont really like him and he might start liking me back. i also pick out flaws in a guy i'm trying to get over, but i usually, without meaning to, i do that to an extend that the thought of them sickens me. but when i can get myself sick of a guy from his flaws and go a day or two not talking to him because i'm so sick of him, i start talking to him. when i start talking to him again for a while then i start thinking he's not so bad. but the flaws are still in the back of my mind so i dont think of liking him again. but thats just me. i dont know what other people do.
