I do not normally post here, but my curiosity has peaked. I'm a little over 3/4 Italian and every member of my family has very thick hair. I'm only 14 years old and my chest, honestly, looks like the following. Give or take a bit.http://www.stockphotopro.com/photo-thumbs-2/ADMJPP.jpg

I would like to know about anyone else in a similar situation, and if this is normal.

it is normal to have chest hair. just part of puberty. and how much differs for everyone. I'm 1/8th itilian so not very much, but i have less than number one on that so it is just different for everyone.

That may be, but the amount is quite vexatious. When I shave it, it returns fully in about a week or so. It, as well as the rest of my hair, generate numerous remarks in the locker room. On an overall scale of 1-10, I'm most certainly a 8 or 9. I can grow my beard about as fast, if not faster than any senior. I guess it's true, you only want what you can't have.

My ex is italian and for 15 (16 in about two wks) he is getting some chest hair already. not quite as much as you but it's there already. where I don't have any. It's just your genes and nothing you can do about that. And anytime you shave hair, it usually grows back faster.

Yeah, that's normal. A lot of this stuff is genetics, and if that sort of thing is common for your family, then it'll be common for you.

It's hereditary, and Italians do have the stereotype of being very hairy. It's normal. If you don't like it you can wax, shave, or nair it off, otherwise, embrace it.

ya, italians are hairy.. but its no biggy, if you dont like it, shave it. if you dont want to deal with that then just leave it. believe it or not, people grow up at some point and they stop hating on hairy guys.
