I fell in love with this girl about a year or two ago, But know she seems to be trying to hurt me, if I go to see she wants to hang out she says no. more that once she has lied to me about why. And if she does hang out with me she treats me like shit. I love her all the same, and hate myself for loving her. I don't want to love her but I do, so I repeat, will someone RIP MY FUCKING HEART OUT. Or post a helpful comment. I really don't care witch.

If she treats you like shit, why continue trying to be friends (or more) with her? Good friendships are two-way streets. Both parties have to put in the effort for it to function well. Sure, you may be in love, but you have to do what's best for you, and continually getting hurt is not good for you. Some people you just need to recognize to be not worth the effort and drop them from your life. Sometimes you just have to disconnect emotion from your decisions and make the logical choice. I can almost guarantee that if you drop her, you will look back on this positively. No 100% promises though, of course.

From my experience girls are often mean to guys who they know like them. Maybe she knows you like her and is trying to tell you that she doesnt feel the same way (in a rather painful and unnecessary way). But the only way to know for sure why shes acting this way is to ask her. If shes already being horrible to you then i dont think you have much to lose by talking to her about it.

she has known for a year or so but it didn't seem to bother her when I told her. The really sad thing is that I should have seen it coming. She does this at this time of the year every year for the past 3 years. And I forgive here every time, and I will forgive her when she does it again next year. I feel like a bitch, every other time of the year she is a great friend but at this time of the year. So does any one know how to break this cycle other than stop being her friend. She is my love and my last true friend.
