Anyway, if there was a girl (or guy) who liked you a lot and told you but you didn't know them very well... well, what would you do? I mean, if it were someone I liked, I'd go for it and if it were someone I knew I didn't, I'd have to turn them down. But what about that grey area where someone asks you out and you have no actual opinion of them because you don't really know them?

I'm not really sure how that would work. Get to know them, I suppose? I've just never been in that situation before and it's sort of come up.

In this hypothetical situation it all comes down to looks for me. If I find her cute/attractive/hot etc. I'd give her a chance, go out with her a couple of times, get to know her. Might seem a little shallow and inmature, but that's what I'd do.

Actually, I do understand that to some extent. Makes sense, I mean, if you don't know much else than just what you see in front of you. Not entirely sure if that would be my defining factor in a person but I dunno.

For a bit more detail, I seem to have a secret admirer basically who has been talking to me anonymously and giving me hints with pretty specific details about our school and stuff about herself. I just realized that if I haven't guessed yet, I really don't know her much. So I don't know what to do if I do find out. She seems really sweet. o_O

It's a strange situation, I know.

Well then it just seems like all you can do is get to know her, hang out with her at school, find out about her. Thats really the only way to find out if you like her or not then at least if you dont like her like that you can stay friends, if she wants?

I... don't. So yes, I realize that this could be a really nasty joke or I'll never find out or those internet creepers we won't talk about but some of the things are seriously stuff that someone from my school would say.

But yeah, I can't guess for the life of me which is why this is mostly hypothetical 'cause there's no guarantee this is going anywhere.

If i liked them I would say yes depending on the amout of knowledge I know of them. Say if you meet them here. A few things to check is have to seen them via web cam or somin,do you know they as if you went to his/her school and silly thing. Something like that just happened to me, actually. A girl I don't really know (we've hung out a few times) who I don't really like told me she really liked me recently. I just told her I want to get to know her more and we'll see where things go after that.

Even if it were someone I really liked, I would not be with them. I can't. I really really really cannot see myself being with anyone right now.
