What does the heroin high feel like?

Now I'm not interested in doing heroin, but maybe someone here could tell me what it's like? I've always wanted to know.

Heroin is synthesized from morphine, which in medical terms is used for patients suffering typically from severe pain. When you inject heroin into your blood stream it gives you a euphoric feeling, your body is all numb, and everything seems brighter. Some people describe it as an "orgasmic" feeling. A lot of people throw up after using heroin, and there are also so many adverse effects i would never recommend using it.

I can tell you from experience that it's really a waste of time. I was addicted to oxy which is along the same lines of heroin and it's basically that your body feels very numb and you feel weak. In your mind it's kind of like that just woke up feeling when you're laying in bed and very very comfortable but your mind is confused at the same time. The reason they call being high on oxy "jammed" is because it's like your brain is jammed

Lol, the movie makes quitting look really fucking easy. It's not unless you're a scottish God I'm guessing.

Many people like to say it feels like having a thousand orgasms at once, which is quite fucking accurate. Very warm, calming, not sexual/erotic but sensual feeling, like having the coziest warm blanket wrapped around you. I also have to say don't light a cigarette when you're on it. I know that sounds stupid, but when you're nodding and you don't even realize you dropped the fag from your mouth or hand your bed is already engulfed in flames or shit like that. I've heard so many stupid stories of things like that happening.

Heroin is dangerous no matter what form and in any way you decide to take it. It will, WILL rip your lungs apart like a lawn mower. So many people like me just had this idea that if you smoke it and don't IV it then your chances of OD are incredibly low. That might be true, but you're still damaging yourself.

It's also something you HAVE to go into a detox center for if you want to quit imo. Trying to go cold turkey is fucking stupid and doing what they did on Trainspotting to quit is pretty bad too.

As cheap as it is here in Texas it's so damn dirty and scary. Don't go near it and if you're thinking about it, want to talk to me about drug abuse, you can do so via PM.

Yeah Deadpie got it. Although I never injected, smoking it is harsh on your lungs especially if you get stuff that is cheaply made, even though I've only tried actual brown a few times.

Heroin or diamorphine is a synthetic morphine I've never used it as it;s an illegal drug but I've been given another synthetic morphine called Dilaudid or hydromorphone known to addicts as "hospital heroin".
I was far from home visiting a relative and my tooth which was aching all of a sudden got much worse, like I was tearing up, I went to the mirror in the hotel and my right cheek was so swollen I looked like the "Elephant man", my mom took me to the emergency room and the nurse injected the Dilaudid right into the vein in my arm/

I felt an intense rush of pleasure, a soothing warmth flowing from the top down, it was intense pleasure like I've never felt in my life, i felt warm, cozy, drowsy but it only lasted for a few minutes, after that it was the same dreamy relaxed state yo get from any pain pills like Vicodin or codeine just a little stronger.

Honestly I don't get it, yes it feels really good but the part that you only get from injections lasted so short.
So why do people ruin their veins to inject this stuff?

It's an invincible numb feeling. The high lasts for a long time and it's a steady high, but the down is horrible. You feel like crap and it usually makes you depressed. Just as advice though... do not do heroin!

well from my experience lol. Its the best feeling in the world. My first high was unlike any other feeling in the world I will ever experience. To me it felt like 10000000x any orgasm at once, like my body just fuckin sank deep into the abyss of hell but in a good way. But the first time I did it, I threw up all over myself as I was nodding out lol. I didn't care about anything or anyone. It never lasted long enough for me though. And it seemed so different from different batches from people can't really describe it. The sickness from not having it is a sickness I wouldn't even wish on my worst enemy. Cold sweats, throwing up like you will never throw up in your life, you can easily go into shock or have a seizure. I used to shoot, it, but before I did I snorted it, and deviated my septum in my nose. Really fucked up my nose. I've got collapsed veins and track marks on my feet, I never could hit the spot on my ass, I tried it on my neck but that was too fuckin annoying and painful so I quit that way. But its a drug and you will be officially a junkie. A lot of people never get clean from that shit, or you end up on methadone which is the most useless shit in the world and then you get hooked on that. Do yourself a favor as appetizing as it looks as good as it makes you feel. You will sell your life to the drug. Kiss anything you got goodbye unless you quit.

Damn man it must have been fucking ruthless to quit that (assuming u did). I went to hell n back to just quit oxy but I never let myself fully get "indulged" (what i would have said at the time) into heroin, but you're right, it feels so amazing that you can wave goodbye to everything you love and care about, but I mean it's not as addictive as it sounds. Maybe cuz I just took a perc after? but idk, respect to you anyway for that bro

I don't think the perc had anything to do with it. Some people handle it differently, I used it to hide from absolutely everything that I could. I depended on it and I needed it. Some people don't always get addicted to it right away, but it was that drug that fit my life. Detox was the only way I stopped otherwise I most definitely wouldn't be here right now, VT wouldn't even be anything to me if I was still sucked in. Though I will say that the temptation and the desire to use never fully went away from me, its a battle to keep my mind off it. I tried NA, but that fuckin group was too weird for me man. I know the 12 steps and I did the whole "90 & 90" and the first 164 pages. I just wasn't into it and I wasn't dedicated to that place. Though if you're to ask anyone in that program they'll tell you you can't do it on pure will power, well I'm here to tell you I fuckin did.

yeah dude, I know that it's two completely different addictions, but I quit oxy and percs without even talking to anyone. No one was even there for me because they were disgusted with me for it, but still I found MYSELF and then I found the way to quit which was to make myself happy, not other people like I was so used to doing all the time. But I still know that heroin is way more addictive, and you are a VERY strong person for quitting on your own man

And yeah idk, i liked the h high better, but I scared the shit out of myself when I tried it (not litterally, u know why :) ) so that is basically the only reason why I didn't get addicted to that instead.
