so I have this friend, she is really nice and I like her and I think she likes me. but im afraid that if I go out with her that if we break up(which we will sometime) she won't want to be friends anymore. I know this sounds corny but does anyone have any suggestions?

Cant really suggest anything as such. It is always a possibility that you wont be friends after the break up. If you value your friendship that much, dont go out with her! I have been in that situation a couple of times.

Make it clear that you still want to be friends. If she doesn't want that, there's nothing you can do, really.

That sums it it pretty well. Thats about all you can do because if she doesn't want you you've got to respect her.

Don't date someone that you don't want to be with for a while, then its just a waste of time. As for breaking and up and remaining friends, as long as its a good breakup (unlike mine) then it shouldn't affect yall.

If you are good friends, leave it. I liked a friend, and I thought she liked me, but she didn't and I told her, and it just fucked things up, and we don't really talk anymore. If you enjoy your friendship with her, I wouldn't encourage you to tell her you have feelings for her.
