Hello, I have had acne problems before, but it has always been on my face and neck, Sometimes on my shoulders.
I have finally found a lotion, cleanser that works to get rid of the acne on my face. Recently I have had pimples developing on my shoulders and back. I have tried using the cleanser, washing with soap etc.
Nothing has worked so far, my pimples are getting more dense and widespread, and it is really annoying and irritating.
I have no Idea what to do. Please help! Thanks.

If what you've been using hasn't been working then maybe try another brand or type. You could also ask your doctor to make a recommendation next time you see him.

Do you play sports by any chance? I noticed all the guys on the football team had backne, but no on one the water polo or swim teams did. So I'm assuming it has something to do with the persistent sweat. Try showering right after exercise?

Definitely go to the doctors and get them to give you anti-biotics, it is the only thing that will solve consistent acne

Try fighting it from the inside. There are many inexpensive supplements that work wornders for acne, especially horomonal acne. First off, pick up some zinc picolinate from the vitamin store, along with fish oil EFAs, vitamin d3, vitamin C, and a B complex vitamin. Also, get lots of exercise as it opens you pores and sweating profusely cleans them out (remember to shower afterwards). Change you pillow case often and mix 45 drops of pure tea tree oil with 90ml of food grade aloe vera gel and rub it gently on your acne away from your mouth and eyes/other mucous membranes. Also, don't touch your face.
I've been doing this for awhile and I had cystic acne on my jaw that is clearing up very nicely. My back and chest are clearing very nicely as well. You'd be surprised at how quickly this regimen kicks in.
Good luck. Also, where is your acne located/what kind of acne is it?

hey i don't know if you still have this problem as i see you posted it in february, but if you go to the doctors and ask if you can be prescribed with "Retin A" it's like this gel you spread over the acne areas of your face and it is like an anti-inflammation, so it stops spots coming up and makes them go down :)

I would go to the dermatologist. I had the same problem a year ago, and he put me on accutane. I have been on it for a year and a month today, and it has helped A LOT!!!

I had the same problem, I had it on my face, neck, shoulders, and even my ears.It mostly gone, I have a few that are getting smaller on my nose, and a few on my back. Every thing else is gone. I get 1-2 break outs in a month or so (1-2 pimples).
