ifind standing up and walking around makes it obvious because its poking forward etc. plus as you walk it rubs which is 'giving it attention' so it will stay for longer, so i would advise to sit down, and think about other things and completely shut your mind off about it - don't even think things like ' oh it still hasn't gone away' etc. because then it will know its bothering you and will stay for longer lol.
