Limiting my recent documents?

on XP pro I get a huge list of recent documents that I've opened when I go into start and scroll over "Documents".

I was just wondering if there's a way to either disable it from collecting all those files to list there or to limit it to around 3-5 items...?

IIRC the only way to change it was using the registry. You can disable it completely tho :p... If you do know how to use the registry i'll tell you what to change :)

I don't even know what this registry you speak of is LOL
I'm more knowledgeable about hardware and audio on computers...setup is another story lol
