So I know 3500 calories equals one pound of fat. But in want to know if this is a good plan to lose 5 lb. of body fat.
Breakfast 7:00am-8:00 am
2 eggs
1 Cup of Orange Juice
2/3 cup of All Bran (the fibre kind, but the generic bran)
Lunch 11:45 am (school lunch, I have to eat the school lunch, but I don't have to have the brownie :))
1 turkey wrap (lettuce, turkey, cheddar cheese, tortilla)
1 small brownie (210 calories)
Chocolate milk (low fat)
1 apple
Small bag of pretzels (it's a famous brand I forget though it's something like snyders of Hanover )
Snack 2:30 pm- 3:00 pm
All bran
Dinner 6:30-8:00 pm
4 chicken tenderloins
Green beans
OR
1 hamburger patty (I make it, the ingredients are 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce with 0 calorie seasonings)
1 handful of green beans
OR
Steak filet (Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce with 0 calorie seasonings)
1 medium baked potatoe with a pinch of cheese and seasons with 2 pads of butter (1/4-1/2 of an inch of butter)
*all milk used is 2% but rarely is it vitamin D
I would like suggestions on what I can change in my diet plan and how many calories I'm eating a day with this diet plan vs the one you suggest. I cannot change my school lunch, I have to eat at school but I don't have to have the brownie or pretzels. So any suggestions (that are cheap) of what I should add, change or remove? And how long until I'd lose 5 lb. of pure fat with this diet and exercise plan as well as how long it would take to lose 5 lb of fat with your suggested diet plan? Any advice would be appreciated.
I will also being working out 2-3x a week burning around 300-600 calories a workout (p90x workouts with a little of Nike training club)

Everyone has different methods if your thinking of lifting weights eat a lot of protein. I used to be sooo fat but I used a plan similar to this and it worked. Good luck.

I've always found that working it down to a science like this really just turns into one giant headache. If you want to loose a few pounds, cut the carbs. Don't eat rice, potatoes, bread and try not to eat and greasy foods. It's worked for me.

I agree with above. I consciously try and cut down on sat/trans fats and keep pumping the protein. Apart from that, I don't really bother measuring every little bit of what goes in my mouth. The important thing is that you feel healthy and good afterwards. Don't skimp or be afraid to treat yourself (though I ban myself from treats after dinnertime).
I think water is something so important you shouldn't miss it out from your plan.

Its different for everyone.
Everyone has a different system of how and where the food is digested.
Make sure too keep up a certain calorie count (I believe it's 2000-3000-might be wrong) depending on if you work out or not for a teenage boy, but obviously you want high protein not fats and sugars.
Skip the brownie at lunch though, have an apple or something ;)
There's a holiday place in LA that focusses on fitness, with the ride exercise and food it's easy to lose 4+ pounds in a week.
Obviously as you'd be doing school and other things around it give it 2-3 weeks.
You said in another of your posts that you had abs, so if you're telling the truth obviously you have low body fat, why the need to loose weight and so quickly?

To be honest to loose weight cut the fat out of meals and cut the carbs out of meals, dont eat high carb products, have things like salad or potatos with meals, It is advised that when it comes to dinner have one thing that is somewhat high in carbs to keep you full but pad out every meal with something really healthy my friend always has a large bowl of salad with every meal because he does not have mass ammounts of food with every meal.
Also working it out like that really becomes a headace and DOES not work well because if you dont loose anything then guess what? you become upset.
Try eating healthy and add regular excersise into that and bang within a couple of weeks to a couple of months you will loose the weight you need. as I said working it like that just gives one a headace and can lead to being deppresed if you dont loose anything even though you have been "good" with you food.
Best of LUCK

I don't have to fast, it's just a goal. Here's the weird thing I have abs (or I believe I do :P) but not pecs. Also, how can I ask a question about my physique without seeming like I'm bragging? Because I want to ask if others can see if I have abs, but I'm asking cause I am bragging. But because I truly wonder if my eyes play tricks on me, and also I have not good vision but I have to wait a month before getting glasses.

I edited the plan a bit.
Breakfast 7:00am-8:00 am
2 eggs [[Substitute egg whites]]
1 Cup of Orange Juice [[Make sure it is not from concentrate; a brand like Simply Orange can be found in most grocery stores.]]
2/3 cup of All Bran (the fibre kind, but the generic bran) [[Are you having milk? If so, you should probably have 1% or 2%.]]
Lunch 11:45 am [[I strongly recommend that you pack your own lunch and take it with you. It's the best way to know exactly what you're getting.]]
1 turkey wrap (lettuce, turkey, cheddar cheese, tortilla) [[Lose the tortilla!!]]
1 small brownie (210 calories) [[If you must have the brownie, either eat half of it or take out the pretzels.]]
Chocolate milk (low fat) [[Water is the best thing to have for lunch. You should be having half your body weight in oz. every day.]]
1 apple [[Good choice!]]
Small bag of pretzels (it's a famous brand I forget though it's something like snyders of Hanover) [[It would be better to choose these over the brownie.]]
Snack 2:30 pm- 3:00 pm
All bran [[Try snacking on fruits or vegetables. You could have a banana, apple, carrot sticks, strawberries, etc. You're getting too many carbs if you have more all bran.]]
[[I wouldn't recommend any of this for dinner, other than the chicken. Red meat is not only full of fat, but it is also hard to digest, which can cause you not to have a good night's sleep. Turkey or fish is a much better option.]]
It seems you are restricting portions on some things but not on others. If you're eating the healthiest foods you can, limiting the amount you eat isn't anywhere near as important.
It's good that you're exercising. However, keep in mind that you could very well lose five pounds of fat, but the number on the scale could be the same. Muscles replace fat, and they're also denser, so you could even "gain." Don't worry about the number! Take measurements and compare those over time.
Water is extremely important!! You should be drinking half of your body weight in oz. (i.e. if you weigh 150, you should be getting 75 oz.) EVERY DAY. 8 cups of water is about 64 oz.
Sleep is also essential, as it allows your body to build and repair muscles. You should be getting anywhere from 7-12 hours a night. I'd recommend at least 8 hours.
Good luck! Let me know if you have any more questions. I'm not a doctor or anything; this is just what I've learned through years of hit-and-miss dieting. (; You eventually get it right! You just have to find the right balance.

That's fair enough, I was just wondering is all, no offence intended :)
A lot of people see what they want to see, but I don't see how you could fake seeing abs.
If you can see them, you probably have them. Or you're in serious denial about not having them.
Even with poor eye sight I don't see how you could mistake abs.
I'm sure if you ask a friend in the right context they could tell you whether they think you have abs.
Be careful if you do so on here due to the rules about pictures etc, you don't want to break those.
Losing weight will do less for your pecs than proper excercises building the muscles will.
If you spent the time typing up you're routine doing push ups, and do a few sets a day, you'd start noticing a difference long before losing weight would.
Also if you are at a low BMI you could be doing harm, by loosing weight your body needs nutrients etc and under feeding it at this age can cause serious damage.
Personally, I'm technically underweight by BMI standards (16.4), but everyone who see's my physique says I'm healthy. I'd never try to loose weight, only gain weight through muscle. If you are like me and technically 'underweight', not only will loosing weight be hard, but may have health repercussions.
By all means, keep the healthy diet, but make sure you are having the right amount of food per day.
Also, someone recommended against red meat. I don't know what that is about.
I agree, fish and 'white' meats are healthier for losing weight, but the protein alone is a brillaint reason to eat red meat.
I've never heard anyone in fitness say red meat is bad.
I would recommend specific pec work outs to get pecs.
For this, google is your friend.
If you type:
"Insert muscle group here" excercises, you will find many websites with how too's and ideas.
Otherwise join a gym, the knowledge you can gain from not only the PT's, but also just people you meet, is invaluable.
Good luck :)
