I hate Valentine's Day. It's just another day that I have to watch girls dote on their loving boyfriends, who shower them with candy, roses and cards. I have to watch them carry those stupid trinkets around, flaunting them. I hate it. It makes me suicidal. Why is it that I can't be part of that? Why is it that I can't be part of this stupid lovey-dovey holiday? Oh, that's right—I'm single!

No matter how ridiculous it sounds, Valentine's Day makes me want to commit suicide. Go figure.

I think it's a fair chance to give those in love some moment for themselves, either to reflect or to enjoy each other's company.
Bugger them all, I'm sure your local pub/club would be running a party for the singles ;)

Yeah, the only problem is I'm too young to go to a club. And being single is nothing to be proud of apparently, no matter where you live. Sigh.

I've never had a good Valentine's Day myself. It sucks. I've never had a relationship with anybody that's lated to V-day. I'd much rather it wasn't even a holiday.

I've had good Valentine's Days in the past but for this one I was single and I didn't care lmao I laughed at all the whipped guys.. their girlfriend's basically had them all on leashes lmao.. friends of mine suggested going to see movies on Valentine's Day at the cinemas and kick couples chairs when they were about to kiss and chuck pop corn at them, they ended up going lol but I didn't. It would have been pretty fun and pretty funny to cause a ruckus at the movies on Valentine's hahahaha, woulda made alot of boyfriends pretty angry! I didn't really notice that it was Valentine's Day anyway.. to me it was just like any other ordinary Tuesday (Valentine's Day fell on a Tuesday here in Australia).

You know, being single may not be something to be proud of to some people, but it's nothing to be ashamed of either. Just because you're not part of a holiday created by Hallmark in denial doesn't mean anything. It just means you haven't found that one person worth spending that day with. I hate Valentines day with a fiery passion but sometimes you just gotta ask yourself if you're really missing anything. Yeah it's a day for couples to be together but do you really need a day for that? If you find that right person everyday will be like Valentines day. So don't worry about one little day, that right guy or girl is waiting, just waiting for the right time to come

I've never been in a relationship period, let alone on Valentine's Day. It makes me suicidal too. All it does is make those of us who don't have boy/girlfriends feel worse about ourselves.
Sometimes I think it's designed to be a holiday that makes single people feel like shit. Not like we need any help with that...
Just remember that the valentines day gifts are shallow and unoriginal. Kind of like an essay you write for English class: You do it, sure, but rarely do you feel it, really mean it. It's probably a bit of a chore for couples too.
