NEED HELP ASAP! Bad friend. Embarassment. Help needed ASAP.

Okay well just recently me and this other girl started dating thats fine and all well but I have this EXTREMLY immature (<-- If thats the wrong spelling blame spell check there were two suggestions :/) and he has told EVERYONE that were Boyfriend and Girlfriend and now everyone thinks we are which both of us are not comfortable with it (The questions etc.) I haven't told any parents that. I like her like my parents know tht we went out but I used to have this female friend and we did everything together so my parets are used to it. I find it awkward telling my parents I like her but knowing my friend he will bring it up to his parents and my parents and everyone please help!! What should I do!!

Please help as soon as possible before tomorrow would be awesome, Thank you in advance.

Btw im not embarrassed to be dating her but with everyone saying congratz on your girlfriend and stuff its so embarassing to be like we are only dating kinda thing.

Be loose about it, it might be embarrassing, but hey, in the end it does not matter. It should not effect your life perminantly, so why stress about it? :)

I guess but im a shy person so having randoms talking to me is embarassing and hard to live with but, i guess it will have to blow over eventually just im a person that worrys about everything

I can see how it can be awkward. I saw a male friend at a concert and drunk facebooked about it (something like omg concderdt wasd amnazinggg @Bob <3<3) and the next day everyone thought we were going out. Here's what I did:
Just say thanks, accept it, and it'll all blow over in a matter of days, things like that become old news fast.
If you're worried about the friend, just have a talk with the guy. Say he's being immature and needs to grow up, and that you'd appreciate it if he could not run around and gossip like an old lady.
The old lady part is crucial.
