If your concerened show your mother or go to a doctor; once my nipple was bleeding and I had to show a doctor, he said it was hormones.

It's a normal part of puberty. It'll take a while but eventually your areolas will become flat.

I've heard of it happening to other people, but the only time that happened to me I was using my boogie board on the beach and I managed to get sand into my nipples XP. They swelled up and filled up with pus. Finally it went away... what you have sounds normal though. If it's painful you ought to tell an adult about it.

The area is called the areola. They raise up totally normal. The boys call them puffies. Our breasts take strange shaped as the grow. Go google you will see.

Yep, mine do that! They are hard ALL THE TIME! and yes they are bumpy. My cousin has what you call puffy nipples, they are long and they look like door knobs, LOL;) She says they look like they were sucked by the vacuum!
