Obviously it will not be anytime soon, but do you think it will eventually fall?

I don't think so. But I think it will definitely become less popular, as it already is.

no i doubt it unless science suddenly becomes able to explain EVERYTHING and thats not gonna happen. old religions might die but new ones will rise to replace them

all i know is that i strongly believe in my religion, and i know that i will not be changing that anytime soon. maybe in the future, but i think religion makes bonds, but unfortunately it also destroys some bonds.
with all luck, religion won't go out, but will develop to believe that things like homosexuality is okay, and so are abortions, and that people need to mind their own business.
so no.

No, it will not. Science can't explain everything quite yet, as well people still don't have answers about "What happens after you die?" At least it gives them a little bit of "answers" for them to believe, however wrong they may be.

No. Even if science did somehow reach a point where every phenomena was "explained," there would still be people who would deny it. I do think that religious people will eventually be a minority, but I doubt that will happen in any of our lifetimes.
As far as our current religions go, yes I think they will die out, in the same manner that belief in the Greek, Roman, or Norse Gods has died out, but a new cycle of religions and belief systems will be created/gain popularity, and the cycle will continue.

Probably not but it definatly should. It causes too much hate in this world.
Plus if they do prove that there is no person up there who could kill or save us and decide upon everything then their still will be those crazy idiots who think that "it's all a conspiracy" so no it will probably not
If we somehow brought someone from back in time from greece and showed him all the evidence that his gods arent real do you think he'd believe it?

Religion can't die. It's not as easy as just, wiping out a faith.
You see, Religion and science are like oil and water, they don't mix. So please stop trying to confuse them both with each other. Science can't disprove religion, but it can put it on loose grounding.

It never will, whether it's Muslim, Roman Catholic, Morman, Christian, Budhist, Hinduism, or Tribal religions it will never fall. Though a few wish it would, it won't. Many people find comfort in thinking that their is an afterlife and that earth is just the beginning, if you ask me that's better thinking then us getting buried and that's it! :D

Religion is already on a downward trend in terms of how influential it is. More and more teens and up have begun to question and define themselves as Agnostic for the simple fact of not affiliating.
I personally feel that Religion will always exist, people just need to feel that there is a purpose behind their life larger then just living and dying.

Roman catholic are christian, don't get them mixed up with a different religion, please. I actually find it insulting some people don't classify catholics as christians.

In the event people are wiped out I think that is a possibility. Though I kind of doubt people will be wiped out any time in the next thousand years at least. Otherwise I think it will loose significant popularity as science explains more.

I think that religion will become more unpopular over time but the world will only be centred around a few rather than having lots. I mean after everything thats happened with lots of wars being over peoples beliefs and religion i dont think that everyone will just drop it like that.
