Chill out, you're only 13, still in the early puberty stages, everything will happen eventually. Height, well it's usually genetic, but can sometimes be not relevent at all.

I think abs are harder to build lol! I need to work on that :(

But anyway, you gotta work your biceps to make 'em big. Biceps are fun to build.

Everything else: I agree with rok.my.sox :D

biceps and abs don't really have much to do with puberty... but I wish I lived across the pond:(

Actually I think they do :D Testosterone and other hormones are produced during puberty that allows development of muscle to be easier. So testosterone helps build muscle, and you start really getting it regularly produced in your body more during puberty.

That might be so, but the only way you can develop your muscles is if you actually work out. If you don't exercise, then your body won't improve that much. Which is why you gotta exercise!!!:bb:

And it starts being really healthy to exercise during puberty. Plus it'll be easier to develop muscles when the hormone that helps build muscles it produced.
And you are right, people should exercise! :D

You don't grow muscle, I mean real muscle before puberty.. During puberty your bone structure developes, including with your muscles.. And your body produces the all mighty male homrones that ''build'' them

I'm in almost the exact situation. Just lift weights if u want muscle.. BUT NOT TOO MUCH it will stunt your growth and prevent your bones from growing.

This has NOT been scientifically proven. It's not good to over-train/lift, but it hasn't been proven that it will stunt your growth.

Still, if you decide to weight train, don't ever over-do it :P

It actually has, and, if you think about it you can figure out that it's true. The muscles are connected to the bone. Muscle doesn't like to stretch. If you have a lot of muscle, that's a lot more resistance to stretching. :)

Different people develop in different stages, and different muscles groups develop in different stages as well, so like as has been said, just be patient and everything will be fine.

Please send me a link to where you know this and found it out, 'cause I searched Google, asked my weight training coach, and asked my mom who was an EMT and they all say no. Seriously, I'd like to see the link =]

+ muscle can be built by raw exercise, which that hasn't stopped anyone from getting taller. Sitting around and not building muscle won't make you taller. In fact, it'll make you wider. :P

Hail to the extremely wise people,

lol thx, but I look it up (find more than 3 resources) and ask my mom about some things (not all) and I use my intuition based on other things I know. I'm just really interested in knowing this stuff so I take the time to learn about it :D

Puberty doesnt have much to do with abs and biceps.

yes it does. Overall, you can build muscle much easier when you're a teen (that's why most start really getting into weight training around 13 or so)

Having a six-pack has nothing to do with puberty. Everyone has a six-pack, but it's not visible on everyone. Now, if you have a lot of pubic hair and you're 13, that could suggest that you're an early bloomer. Also, I don't think anyone knows which muscles develop first during puberty.
