to become a mod you must fill out application in the VT Volunteer Jobs Openings Forum (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=34&order=desc) and wait. you do have to have some specifications but i dont know what they are right now

You wait until the staff put an application for a new staff member out and you apply and we select those we think will be best suited. Your rep may have gone down because someones given you negative reputation for a post you have made.

To become a mod you have to have been here for 6 months and have at least 250 posts i think. There is either a thread in vt volunteer job openings where you would post why you think you would be a good mod or the admins pick people they think are right for the jobs.
If you dont think you deserve a neg rep just contact a mod or admin, they can change it.

You don't become a mod. A mod becomes you

Not even.
Jenna was only registered for four weeks and she became mod. Two weeks later she was global mod. So you don't have to be here for at least six months.
Autumn had a little over than 100 posts when she became mod. So you don't need 250 posts.

Not to get out of the topic of conversation, but how do you report a mod?

To report a moderator you send a message to a global moderator or admin with the name of the moderator, what you're reporting them for and any proof if you can.

If you want to report a mod you can contact a senior staff member. The red are the administrators and the blue are the global moderators (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showgroups.php).

Become a mod = be yourself, be active, and show dedication to the forum. They dont always have applications for a position if theres someone who stands out as a good potential mod.

There's many ways not to become a mod, and bumping threads is one of them.
