Out of Seth's shows, Family Guy seems to be the most loved, but does anyone else prefer American Dad? Don't get me wrong, I liked the early seasons of Family Guy, but it turned into a completely different show at season 4 or 5.
Plus, Roger>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Stewie.
Stan's better than Peter, in every way possible.
Francine is a better mom than Lois and hotter without an annoying voice.
Klaus is still bitchy, but manages to still be lovable, unlike Brian who just comes off as an obnoxious ass.
The kids are actually interesting and get interesting story lines.
Speaking of story lines, American Dad actually has story lines and doesn't rely on cutaways to get a cheap laugh.
So, anyone want to show American Dad some love? <3

I like it but it gets a bit boring tbh, they need to vary the episodes a bit more. Maybe do some of those spin offs like how they did the Star Wars episodes in Family Guy. I just see it as same shit, different family tbh.

I definetly prefer American Dad over Family Guy, I can't say this enough. I think AD is extremely underrated and that saddens me.
I think it makes more sense. I also like the fact that they rely on smart jokes and punchlines instead of just stupid jokes, which, don't get me wrong, are still funny, but are worse than smart ones.
And well, the characters are extremely funny. I loooooooove Francine and Roger's non-sensical back stories.

Ya I love watching both. For me personally if I watch American dad to much it gets boring, but still my second favorite show :)

Roger and Stan are my favorite, it's hilarious how Stan is a hard ass conservative and Christian, like that episode where he finds out his friend is atheist and tries to convert him but then he dies and then he made a deal with Satan lol

No, in fairness I think American Dad can be just as stupid and that alien is just a horrible stereotype.
With Family Guy you get the sense anything is possible and it is. Time machines, space ships. Helicopters flying in tunnels. It's open to experimentation with si fi storylines and Stewie is very intelligent and makes some extremely remarkable observations.

You can't say the children don't get storylines, they do. But what's interesting about two kids going through middle/high school? Nothing. But put that together with the talking baby and anthropomorphic dog and you can have a lot of fun.
