Has anyone else ever wondered what's gunna happen when we have kids, and they look at your arms.. and say "mommy, what happened there?" :/

Yeah. For awhile, because of this, I was convinced I'd never have kids. Thing is, you can only hope that when they're old enough to understand, that they'll know that's not the road to go. If they do, at least you can support them.

But I've made a firm decision to learn from my parents' mistakes if I have kids that hopefully won't drive them to the point I started self-harming.

I thought about that when I started, but soon figured out that I'd make a terrible mother and swore never to have kids and add to the oversized population of the planet. Plus, you can always make things up. Lie to your kids like you lie to your parents.
Wow, I am a horrible person for saying that.
