ok so im 15, i smoke weed daily and have bee known to enjoy a few hallucinogenics. i dont look like a stoner or hang out with many stoners but everytime i tell a guy that i love weed and what not they always seem to lose intrest on me or look down upon me. I dont get it im an A student besides math, im nice pretty much everyone and i dont advertise the fact that i smoke soooo why do all these guys think its so bad for girls to smoke weed. I look at them and think, Wow your last girlfriend got drunk all the time and made a fool of her self yet you think im gross for loving something natural and good for you. so my question is how do you guys feel about girls that love weed

Your somewhat vain opinion on drugs is probably what they dislike. The fact that you say it's 'good for you' certainly makes you just look what most guys see as a mindless stoner.

Personally I absolutely hate people who take any sort of drug, not just weed.

Guys look for stable partners who they can be with for a long time without a hitch. Not someone who could be thrown in gaol the next day if the police just happen to come knocking.

i disagree. i feel it is a natural substance and can be good. and i dont mind her opinion on drugs nor would it change any feelings for her i have. i only smoke weed and havent for over a year. when i do, its just a little. i guess it depends on the person.

I can agree. Don't say "it's good for you" and stuff like that. You sound defensive. Although there is evidence that it is good for you (weed), because it tends to protect brain cells from damage, promote brain cell generation (in the hippocampus) and it has some nice anti-inflammatory effects (see sources below). You shouldn't think that weed will suddenly make you smart or clever. And you have to get your priorities straight before smoking regularly. Keep your grades up -- don't perpetuate the stoner stereotype! That's the most important thing. If you can help it, don't perpetuate the stereotype of a lazy, stupid, unclean stoner. Prove to people that stoners are not dirty, ignorant people.

Anyways, other than that, I prefer stoner girls over absolute straightedge girls -- especially the ones who say "durr weed is bad" without any substantive evidence. I'm intellectually geared. For some reason stoner girls are more open, and philosophical discussions with them are easier. I like that. I like free-minded people who aren't bound by laws or societal morals. I absolutely hate people who are strongly anti-drug, anti-abortion etc without any substantive claims or evidence whatsoever. It irritates me a lot. If you can come up with a good reason to be anti-marijuana (not "it makes you go derp derp lazy"), then I can respect that.

Lastly, I myself enjoy smoking (although I haven't for a few months), but I dislike people who can't handle their cannabis use. That simply makes people see all stoners in a "drug addict" or "loser" light. Same goes with psychedelics.

You should never, ever expect that, especially at a young age (i.e teens). It doesn't happen very often, and expecting it will only create tension. I don't think most guys are like that -- that would just be sort of short-sighted. Now maintaining a relationship for the long term is another story.

So just keep doing what your soul desires, don't let people determine that. You'll find a guy sometime. As a more technical tip, guys who are aligned with the stoner movement (skaters, anarchists etc) or are aligned with more libertarian causes tend to be friendly towards stoners.

well, ive not been smoking weed for long but i love it... ive never had a problem with people im dating... but i know quite a few girls who do weed everyday... and they dont have problems... but i suppose its were your from too... like im from a really anti drug area... but when ive been staying recently loads of people smoke it... but myb you should be a little less "i love weed" and more like i smoke weed... is that a problem? :)

i personally think that there is no big deal with smoking weed. I smoke, and because i enjoy doing it. As for your question, i love girls that smoke weed. because of the fact that they have a more mellow point of view, and can really just be such an enjoyment to be with. So keep smoking and youll find somebody
