Ive had enough of this! I want to stop. I thought it would be so easy. Ive "quit" before. But it was just like id forget about cutting for a few days or a week, and then go back when I felt like it, I thought it would be easy to stop. I said id stop last night, but I completly fucked up tonight. Im so scared. I know that I cant stop as easily as i thought. I just need some support?

Anyone? :'(

Quitting won't be that easy, you can't expect to just never pick up a blade again.
Just work through steps slowly. Try throwing anything you use to sh away. Involve yourself in things other people are doing, read a book, take a walk, listen to music, do things you enjoy anything to take your mind off it. Keep yourself busy and you won't have time to think about it.
We are here for you, you can do this. You don't need a blade to get through life it just holds you back.
If you ever need to talk you can PM me I'd be happy to help in anyway I can. :)

I really don't suggest that you throw what you sh with away. For me, it caused me to freak out, even almost 2 years after I had stopped. But maybe that's just me. Do what you think is right for you.

Anyway, stopping cutting is extremely difficult. It's definitely in the top three hardest things I've ever done. There may be slip ups, and that's okay. It's part of the healing process. You most likely won't be able to quit cold turkey. The key is to not let it discourage you. Urges will probably get a lot worse before they get better. Just remind yourself that an urge won't last forever, and once an urge ends, you're so much stronger.

some tricks of the trade. they help for a while.

music is a big helper. if you have music then you have something to calm you, something to listen to, something to distract you, something to keep out all the rest of the noise. also you can use noise to drown out your own thoughts about it. it helps me sometimes. used to help me a lot more but I've been getting a lot worse.
hobby. keep yourself busy take up writing drawing something doesn't matter what. go out and join the club or something. doesn't matter just keep yourself busy. focus on something beside it
if you're in high school start worrying about college. think about that and what you can do to make yourself look more appealing to college. not saying go out for one, but this is just another thing to keep your mind busy and it'll give you something to look forward to in the future. have something in the future you really want it'll make you want to survive till then and keep from doing it.
surf online. there is more useless and hilarious videos out there than is needed. surf the web to your hearts content. find something to do on there.
make a friend. talk to them about it. get whatever you need off your chest or sometimes it isn't something to get off your chest but just the fact that you want to do it.
get a pet(usually not much of an option but...) something small and cute and furry to keep you distracted. of course they're a lot of trouble.
there are plenty of tricks you can find on the internet. rubber band for one. nice little trinket keep it around your list give it a pluck when you need it people won't pay it any mind 9 times out of ten. just don't go overboard. i've actually bruised and welted myself with them before and those don't heal for days.
games. solitaire. perfect lonely person game. you can get drawn into any game and distracted for a while. you don't even have to pay for things like game systems and cds and things search for something called emulators and something called roms. they're the same thing as every game and game system ever made since the atary (that wooden thing as some people like to call it) but anyways, easiest to work are the game boy color game boy advanced and Nintendo ds ones. they have plenty of games.
you don't have to hurt yourself. i don't mean insult somebody else or start beating people up but those tricks like punching a wall or a pillow or even I've stabbed my walls. i did that a lot actually. my walls are covered in duck tape bandages

always try to hold off as long as you can that's the only thing i can say. going for five days isn't as good as going for six or a week and then trying to go for it again trying to break it that'll just give you something higher to shoot for.
