I need some help on this.

My sisters headphones jsut died, and i wan to use the wire, I tested it and it still works. but how would I hook it up to the auxilary input on my new headphones? I'm really curious becuase then i could just use these and not have to buy an audio cable with matching ends.

It would be less effort to buy the AUX cable. They're like $1 off eBay.

the cables can be pretty cheap, so I would go with a new one. Otherwise I guess stripping and soldering?
