So when I masturbate i usually do it before i get in the shower with some regular Lubriderm lotion. It has no chemical additives so it usually should bother my skin, and never used too. But all of a sudden my dick started to get really dry and flakey in spots on the tip and right below the tip (im circumsized). It comes and goes, but i did some research becuase i want it to go away and i found that it might be caused from the lotion. So i want to start to use something else. Heres my question-
-What other lubes can i use to jerk off?
-Where can i get them?
-What lube is best?
-Will it keep my dick from getting dry and flakey in spots?
-And has anyone else ever had this happen? Is it caused from something else?

Please help me out in anyway, becuase i really would like to get rid of this problem. Im close to having sex with a girl and i dont want her to go down to my penis and see that its like dry and flakey in some spots and i would like to be able to jerk off again without having this problem occur. By the way i stopped jerking off for the past two weeks so it would go away and its almost completely gone, so now i want to start again but i NEED to use a different lube i guess.

Please dont lock this thread again either, I'm clearly not asking for techniques, i have a problem and would just like to fix it.

Thanks.

(1) You're either having an allergic dermatitis-type reaction to the lotion (unlikely) or your masturbation is just agitating the skin, causing it to flake. How often are you jerking off?

(2) There are thousands of kinds of lube. A water-based lube might be better for you since you can use it with a condom if you're having sex. You can get them at most any drug store, supermarket, and hundreds of sites online.

(3) Grease-based lubes degrade the integrity of condoms and other barrier birth control, but because they're grease-based, they don't absorb into the flesh as quickly, so you don't have to reapply as often. So if you're having unprotected sex, it could be better.

(4) Put some lotion on your dick after you jerk off. That might help.

If you post this again you're going to get an infraction. Asking for brands of lube to buy is against the rules. I don't know if I could possibly make that any clearer for you.
