Does anyone regularly cut over old scars. I cut because I want to feel the pain but I dislike the feeling of cutting over old scars. Just wondered others thoughts.

*Nod* I usually don't cut over old scars either. I... keep everything parallel to itself, actually.

Yes...i definitely think it feels weird when i cut over old scars so i start off by cutting on clean flesh then once i lose control i go over the old scars and then i find they are more difficult to heal and they are more painful during the healing process.

I cut over old scars a lot, really old white scars don't really bother me once I've started, but its the raised red ones that don't feel nice to cut over. It kind of drags idk.
But yeah I think its perfectly normal to feel that way.

i burn in the same area but never right overtop. i have a couple side by side right now but that's about it. and i have cut myself a few times but it left no scars from that only scratches that healed over time. so no i've never done it right overtop of an old one.

i cut over my scars but thats because mine arent parralel or even straight realy... its like a web of scars on my wristt all mainly going the same direction ubt not really i notice that it seems to take longer to heal when its over a scar and that it hurts more when it heals

I do because I can only cut on the top of my legs and my stomach, it's the only place I can safely hideand even then it sometimes shows. So yeah I cut over them quite frequently and each time it gets more painful. But I deserve it so who cares.
