Anyone listened to the new VH album yet? What did you think of it? I thought it was pretty good, definitely no 1984 or Van Halen or For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge though. Pretty cool that a bunch of old guys (and a teenager) can still make some great music. Even if they did steal the album cover from an old Commodores album:

I'll be honest, I don't quite want to. After listening to/seeing the video for Tattoo, I just felt like it was a swing and a miss. I'm sure the album might have potential to be better than the lead single but it was quite off-putting.

"Tattoo" sucked balls. Seriously, they should have just done the tour and not make this album. It's just way too dated.

Well I enjoy this group and I enjoy them for all of what they did not this. Sometimes things are better left to rest and Eddie Van Halen is done. This would be like sorry to say because I love this band, and they were a great power ballad, Poison. I definitely dont think they could make a comeback. I could go on all day about the 80s and groups that should come back.

I respect all of your opinions if you listened to the entire album, but if you just listened to "Tattoo", that is nothing like the rest of the album. Go ahead and listen to it if you haven't!
