So.... let's see if I can sum this up.
A few weeks ago, I was struggling with depression. I *really* wasn't handling it and I had my first thoughts of suicide ever. I decided to talk to my friend about it and next thing I know, Sheriff's Deputies come to my house to preform a "Welfare Check" (basicly deciding if i need to be restrained for my own safety)
I "passed" the check and then had a long, frankly, painful talk with my parents. Turns out the friend I had talked to told his parents, and they called the school...etc. At first I was shocked that he would betray my trust like that, but then I realized that he was just helping me. We started texting each other and I told him almost everything, and he earned my trust. (I'd put my life in his hands) So I decided to tell him, face-to-face, that I was gay. I sorta toed around it for a while, saying that it was something I had taken a great deal of time realizing about myself, and it's something that could be seen as terrible. Eventually I had to just out and say it. he didn't say anything for a while as he was shocked.(longest few moments of my life.) but then he smiled and gave me a hug, saying that he was fine with it and he didn't care that I am gay. :) I was completely overjoyed, and I've been able to deal with my deppresion some much better having a friend that knows absolutely everything about me and still loves me like a brother!
so...that's my story, just wanted to put it out there!:)
