It depends how high your sex drive is. Perhaps it wasn't that high then and you weren't incredibly horny. My advice would be try again another time.

maybe you stopped jerking it too soon. I know sometimes if I stop jerking before the orgasm finishes, I won't have alot of semen that comes out. Try jerking again but jerk through the orgasm.
