I don't like doing it in the shower just cause I feel like its not lubricated enough. I don't have a problem with shit getting anywhere but on my fingers. There's no reason you couldn't do it in bed and just have a rag nearby to deal with any unwanted substances. Prsonally anal masturbation doesn't do much for me.
