Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum but I'll still give it a go.

I'm thinking of getting into the hobby of flying model helicopters.

A long time ago I flew a really small model helicopter and I had some really great fun with it.

But I have no idea what sort of helicopter I should buy for my first!

There’re helicopters that are BNF, RTF, Electric, Nitro, Blade and more!

The maximum price I'm looking at is around $70 AUD.

Any advice on buying and flying?

Thanks

hey. i fly model helicopters and planes. what you probably want is a RTF electric. what that means is that the helicopter is Ready To Fly, and all you have to do is charge a battery. I have a RTF electric i got online. I would suggest starting with an indoor micro helicopter as they are cheap and provide a good way to learn basic flight skills. www.hobbypeople.net has some good ones. I have used the EF mini stinger (found here (http://www.hobbypeople.net/index.php/ef-mini-stinger-dual-rotor-indoor-2-4g-helicopter-rtf-heli.html) ) it works well. and i would suggesting getting some spare parts as they break quickly when you just start out.
