What is a normal age for getting your first girlfriend? Im 13 and havent had one yet. And how do you go from having a crush to a girlfriend? I think it would be so akward to go up to the girl I like and ask her to be my gf lol

There's no "normal" age. My brother didn't have a girlfriend until he was 17. My sister had a boyfriend at 16, and I had my first partner when I was 14. It all just depends on when you feel ready. But trust me, you don't want to rush into relationships. They're just more drama, stress, stupidity, clinginess, "romance," idiocy, and stress. Lots of stress.
But really, go with what feels comfortable. There's no time limit.

No such thing as "normal". Some start at 10, some start at 18, it all depends. I got my first girlfriend a month and a half ago, so 14 for me.
As for getting into the relationship, I can't help you there. Mine started very differently than most. I say don't rush it. I've seen too many broken hearts because they liked someone for a week, dated for a month, and realized they didn't like each other.

11 is a little young usually.
Everyone is different though, but honestly in your situation, go up to the girl. Ask her on a date, after a few dates and you're sure you're interested ask her to be your girlfriend..
Remember, a single date doesn't make you two a couple :)

I'd say that the average is around Junior High years [11, 12, 13], though I strongly recommend against starting anything so soon. I'm currently 16, soon to be 17, and I feel that it could, and perhaps should, be about 3 more years before I get myself into a relationship. I've only recently started keeping my eye out for the person who could be "the one" [as corny as that sounds]. I'd say wait a bit. and when you feel ready, don't just hit up the most accessible girl in school, more keep your eyes open. Be ready for the day that you meet the person you might like a lot.

you don't go to a girl and ask her to be your girlfriend. first of all (at least) make friends with her. it's the best way to know her better and prepare a base for a future relationships

This.
There isn't a normal age, it just depends on you and how comfortable you are.

I'd say that under 13 is young, but above that and it sounds about right. Just remember that who ever you find means that you're willing to spend life with them, and not get "bored" of them, like a lot of people I know who are so fickle that they move on from relationship to relationship. My first girlfriend was at 15. Im still 15.

Well, I had my first girlfriend when i was 12, but the time you get your first girlfriend also somewhat depends on your personality and your crushes personality, some guys prefer a girl to ask them out and some guys prefer to ask the girl out. but also remember a that there's a girl for everyone.

I'm 17 and haven't dated or have a girlfriend. You don't need to rush it, just live life and eventually you'll meet someone and begin to date.

If you're not mature enough to be able to ask a girl out, you're not mature enough for a girlfriend.
I was 17 when I had my first girlfriend, everyone's different.
