coming out is a huge leap of faith for LGBT kids. They don't want to keep it all bottled up cause that's like hiding every big secret you can think of, but when they do they're also scared that their parents/siblings/friends/teachers won't be understanding. By doing it on this site they can get through the fear of this happening by realizing how many people DO understand ans support.

If any LGBT people want to correct me on this, that would be great since I don't know firsthand :whoops:

You are so right about comming out I always felt like a criminal or something sneaking around hiding stuff. now that the truth is out I feel much better about myself. Now I can be the real me.

Thanks for being here and understanding :)

It's also about giving perspective, jared.james. That way, you (or anyone else) who reads their post can understand better where they're coming from, and maybe "takeaway" a little as to why they said what they said.

It's all about context... :)

I try not to flaunt my bisexuality, but it is a huge part of my life and when I think the context matters to a question or comment on the forums, i mention it.
