Personally I find the unattractive but I have friends who are into them and I certainly wouldn't hate on anyone who thought so as well.

not really. It depends really on how big they are, but remember that girls aren't all shallow, and some care more about personality than looks. If you do have moobs, DO NOT work your pecs cause this only makes them look worse. it's subcutaneous fat, which means your best bet is cardio.
